FuniBus

The TPL Funicular Station service will be interrupted starting on August 4th, thus allowing the beginning of the renovation works, within the framework of other construction works like the building of the new FFS Railway Station Foyer. The new funicular will be inaugurated in December 2016. During this period, Lugano Public Transportation (TPL) will render FuniBus available, a shuttle bus service guaranteeing direct connections between the FFS Railway Station and the City Centre.
FuniBus will be running every day from 5.20 a.m. to 11.55 p.m. with an average frequency on weekdays of 10’ and 7’ during rush hour between 4.00 and 7.00 p.m. to cover the distance. Ticket costs Fr. 1.10. You can find further information on the following link.
