Did you know that thanks to Lugano’s special climatic conditions the oak and the olive tree grow equally well and the other plants like palm trees and cork oaks also prosper beautifully? The walk proceeds to the Church of Santa Maria degli Angioli, close to the new Cultural Centre. It then continues along the lakeshore and ends at the Ciani Park, the largest city park and one of the most important in Switzerland.
